When you are trying to choose a vacuum, it can be overwhelming to make the right choice. Should you buy an upright or a backpack vacuum?

Well, we want to help you.
Make an informed decision.
So here are the benefits of upright and backpack vacuums and which one we prefer.
Upright vacuum
Upright vacuums are good for deep cleaning.
The reason we like the upright vacuum is that it has a beater bar, or you probably call it a brush. The brush helps dig deep into the carpet fibers. When looking for an upright vacuum, look for the suction port. We like vacuums with the suction port in the middle of the brush under the vacuum.
To us, a vacuum with the suction port on the side seems to not pick up as well.
Backpack vacuums
Backpack vacuums are great if you have a lot of square footage. Typically, a backpack vacuum can cover about 7,000 to 7,500 square feet an hour, whereas a 14-inch upright vacuum can only do about 500 square feet an hour. Now, we do not recommend a backpack on high pile carpet.
A backpack vacuum is great for hard surfaces; you can switch from a carpet tool to a soft brush attachment and vacuum your hard floors.
Also, you can switch to a dusting brush and dust horizontal surfaces.
Keep in mind that this is based on our experience, so if you have any questions before buying a vacuum, don't hesitate to reach out to us @
