What will sealing your tile and grout do for you.

So if you have your tile and grout sealed after cleaning it

It will help prevent your grout from getting stained by food or beverages. Sealing your tile and grout is not a guarantee that it will not get stained, but it will give it a better chance of not getting stained.

Why should you not get your tile and grout sealed after it is cleaned?

If you have a shower and it has tile and grout in it, we would not recommend getting it sealed. The reason is that it will wash away pretty quickly due to all the water and moisture in a shower. You can get it sealed, but it will not do much for you. Think of getting your tile and grout sealed as adding a protective barrier between you and your grout.
