Wintertime is here.

Snow falls during the winter months. With the recent snow we have gotten here in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and surrounding areas, you will likely encounter ice melt/salt residue. You might be wondering what's the best way to clean it. Ice melt, commonly called salt, is a product that melts ice on concrete and then often gets tracked into your building or home.

You can rinse the floor with clean, clear water, or here at Clean and Thankful Cleaning Services LLC, we sometimes use Spartan Shine Line Floor Neutralizer. A floor neutralizer will take that alkaline back to more of a neutral state and remove the residue. Always be sure to sweep the floor before you start to mop to avoid scratching the floor surface.
