So you got your carpets cleaned. Now you want to know how long until you can walk on your carpet. It doesn't matter if you got your carpet extracted or very low moisture carpet cleaned.
You can walk on the carpet right after it is cleaned. Companies tell you that you cannot do so due to safety. But if you need to walk on the carpet to get something in another room, it is okay to walk on the carpet. Just remember to use caution because the carpet may still be wet, especially if you are going from carpeted areas back to a hard floor. You could slip and fall, so use extreme caution. It is advisable not to walk on the carpet while it is wet, but if you need to, use extreme caution. If you have soil on your shoes, it may be easier for the soil to transfer to the carpet and make your freshly cleaned carpet dirty again. But if you need to walk on the carpet, you can. Here at Clean and Thankful Cleaning Services LLC, we offer shoe covers if you need to walk on the carpet after we are done with the cleaning. Just ask, and we will give you some shoe covers.
